    steering

so i am thinking about doing a hi steer on my CJ all it would consist of is drilling out the knuckles and puttingin heimjoints right and of course new tie rod and drag link will this mess up all my steering some one told me that heim joints are not as good that i should stick with tie rod ends btu that means i have to taper the holes opposite and get bigger tie rod ends could i just flip my knuckles to opposite sides on my axle?? any ideas?? i want to put redneck ram on it

If you're asking about putting the tie rod and drag link on top of the steering arm instead of below it, yes you can do it. Buy good heims, you'll gain about 2.5" of clearance under the rods. Look in one of the recent steering threads for a link or go to Jegs racing and look for them.
