Holy **** that's a shallow pattern. Who set those up for you, Ray Charles? Is the coast side that bad, but on the top side of the gear?

I think he had the gears that screwed up not too long ago set up at J&P.
those are not my gears...that is what the drive side of mine looks like....my cousin set them up....they just started whining on my last trip home....the coast side looks like the pattern covers the entire tooth

if you look at the third tooth back you don't even have to have the lead paint to see where the drive side is hitting

i did my own setup on a 9inch and that wear pattern in the pictures pretty much sucks. There is no telling what kinda noise that can cause. There is probably alot of metal floating around in that rearend that bearings and all sorts of stuff is making noise. If the coast looks good and the drive looks like that the gears are gone.
my cousin took it to the shop this past weekend and it will be done shortly.......they said they are fine
