    Thats not good

Well I finished rewireing the toy after having to completely strip the two cabs down and switch things out. So I decide to tempt fate and try to start the truck, which amazingly fires right up. But here is the problem. The thing reved up like a banshee, and in the split second it took me to kill it hit 6k rpms. Okay, I figure something is screwy with the throttle cable, so I try to adjust it and restart. Well it does the same thing. So I said screw it and decided to call it a day. I want to get the problem solved today. Any suggestions on what may be wrong? I'm gonna take a closer look at the throttle, but I'm wondering what else it could be.

problem solved. The two throttle cables are for the most part identical. Same length and everything, but the original from my truck is just a little bit longer past the point you use to adjust your idle. So I switched them out and the truck runs good.
