    hmmm...hella gear reduction

    1-C 4 @ 2.46
    1 Torque converter @ 2
    2 NP435's @ 44.76
    2- NP205's @ 3.84
    4.10 axle gears

    Final drive ratio of 3469:1

HOLY ****!!! WTF was this ol' boy thinking? That is one LONG drivetrain.

How do y'all like the D44 TTB setup welded together to be a solid axle?

I think that the NP 435 has a 4.76 or a 6.0 to 1, not a 44.76. If that was true the gear would be HUGE!!

I am thinking more along the lines of 1208.59 to 1. Too many variables for me, when in doubt just use the right foot

he has already multiplied the two tranny's together and the two transfercases....

the np435's are 6.69:1 each and the NP205's are 1.96:1 each(per his numbers given) even using that information, i get a final crawl ration to be 3467:1 not 3469:1

the thing must CREEP... i wonder if you can even tell it's moving...

How does the guy mate the two tranny's? special adapters? If so I bet they weren't cheap.

he probably has access to a machine shop and did it himself. Its not like the commercial adapters grow on tree's. someones gotta sit down and figure the chit out

I wonder how you design the spud shaft that would link the 10 spline input shaft and the 28 spline output shafts for the two trannies together.
