    cut tires

    think they'll work better, any other ideas, should i go wider or different design?

    Interesting pattern. I especially like the middle. I think think that there's really no way to mess up thornbirds, so it looks like you're off to a fine start.

    What tire groover did you use?

    I thought you were gonna lose a few entire lugs? Though they may throw a few lugs by themselves and save you some trouble! Don't see how what you've done so far will help much.
    Some guy on POR said he just took a dull sawzall blade and ground it to a knife edge, put it back in the sawzall and started cutting. Stinks though...do it outside.
