Source for trailer axles/hitches etc in town?

I've looked at tractor supply before and they wanted about $250 for an axle with brakes. I figure that was a little steep so I'd like to find out if there are any good sources of the parts necessary to build my own trailer.

    TIA

Gooseneck on 21 east. Don't know their prices but they sell stuff like that. You're not gonna find them for much less than $250. If you're just gonna build a little trailer to put the mazda on skip the brakes. The F-350 will stop it.

This post is partially for me and partially for a coworker. He wants to build I trailer and wants me to help and I want to know if there is money to be saved in building my own later on down the line.

If I build a trailer it will be 80% Mazda hauler and 20% random stuff hauler so I could customize it....

well after you consider your time and the metal you have to buy, and making sure everything is lined up right and it won't pull to one side, its cheaper, i already looked into it
