    Dana 60s

not sure where to put this, but oh well

    just for everyone's info...

there's a chevy Dana 60 out at Gordon's Junkyard on 21, it's pretty bare, but could be a starting point for someone that really wants one

also, there's a newer (94 and up) Dodge Dana 60 at the same place...it's coils and vacuum disco, but it's complete

like I said, jsut letting people know in case someone is looking

    Question

    How bare? Knuckles? Shafts?

How much does he want for it?

    Really bare,

Housing, P-side knuckle, 4.10 open carries w/ gears, and that's it.

    And he'll want about $200-250.

How hard are knuckles to come by? I'm trying to figure out if this is worth it.

It isn't worth it...knuckles are hard to come by and expensive...as far as the dodge axle goes...it MIGHT be nice if you had a dodge one ton truck...

that axle isn't worth anything. I emailed boyce about it a while back and I think they said it would be 800 bucks for all that stuff, or 1000 for the entire housing.

I like that guy. He runs a 6.2L NA in just about every project that he does. Nearly $10,000 for a pair of axles? What a steal!

    What are you talking about?

"In Germany, they first came for the communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Catholic. Then they came for me -- and by that time there was nobody left to speak up."
