1981 Honda Motorcycle 200cc

1981 200cc Honda piglet, recently rebuilt the carb, runs like a champ, $500. Fred repainted the tank and battery cover two summers ago metallic grey, and I had the seat recovered in black vinyl. I think it is a cool looking little bike, and is great for commuting to class and avoiding the parking hassle. I rode it for a year, my roomate rode it for a year, parks like a champ, and gets ~50 mpg. I am convinced the bike will run forever, it is a Honda, it doesn't know any better. You can ride two guys on it dumb and dumber style, ask Conlee. Parking passes for bikes are half that of a car, and you can actually park. It also comes with a size large flat black Bieffe helmet, however the liner might need a bit of a "how's your father" though... If interested call my roomate Kris 979-492-8008.

i was wondering if anyone knows how to turn up the idle on this bike... when sitting at a light or whatnot it dies if you dont sit on the throttle a little... and jimmy you know when the last time it was serviced or any of the maintance that is required for it?

I'm guessing one year after your 1980 bronco was last serviced

there is a idle adjustment screw on the right side of the carb. i think tightening it turns the idle up, underneath the carb is the mixture screw, might have to fiddle a little with it as well, I think it was pretty close. we changed the oil on it a month or so ago, it takes 1 whole quart to change it, and there is no filter. Make sure the chain stays tight, as long as the adjusters on the back are tight you should be ok. I think the oil is supposed to be changed every 1000 miles, not sure though, bet you could find it with a google search. I think the inspection was out, not sure if nuts told you or not. Motorcycle inspection is a joke though. I would go ahead and take the class to get your license, I got a ticket for not having one. Last of all WEAR A HELMET! If I see you without a helmet on, I am reposessing the bike
