Here's another: Anyone need a tow truck?
1958 Series II Harvey Frost Break Down Truck. This trucks has an original Harvey Frost Crane for towing vehicles. This Crane was an approved accessory for Land Rover. It has a great frame and is very original. RHD 2.25l Petrol. $6500
.. had the pick up wires backwards
...
Cool Series I 107 pick-up on 38's. He's running a 101FC Land Rover axle in the front converted to disc. A 101 axle is a D60 that came in military and 1-ton Land Rovers. LR springs SOA in the front, Eaton rear axle out of a LR w/ disc brakes also. Chevy rear springs SOA. Chevy 350 and SM465, Series Tcase. I like the galvanized sudo exo-cage, looks like it belongs.
So it works good? Post some pics of the module wired up. Does it run better than before when the module was still good? What did you time it at?Originally Posted by robertf03
its still got a hesitation. Need to set the timing and make sure all the wires are on their tight. Got sick of working on after chasing the backwards pickup wires. I think every other vehicle out there doesn't care how the pickup is wired, just needs a magnetic pulse.Originally Posted by Graystroke
might take some pics too, but imagine an hei module under the hood of a disco. pretty exotic

Now all you need is some yellow 8mm Accel spark plug wires so you can do some intimidating 4 wheel smokey burnouts!Originally Posted by robertf03
your Discovery looks like it has been abandoned in fish lot under a tree

and thats just some 95 I found on google

In the pic of the 107 is that a Scout II steering box he is using?
I thought the same thing but wasn't sure if British Leyland was using Saginaw boxes back in the dayOriginally Posted by Graystroke

Definitely not stock. They (LR) pioneered the method of having the box mounted on the firewall (bulkhead in limey speak) and used drag links and a 90* bellcrank (where a normal box would go-like the one in the pic) w/ a bush thru the frame to hold it together.Originally Posted by robertf03
Oh yeah, British Leyland didn't get a hold of the company and start their downward spiral until the 70's
