    Finally......

    Well its finally here. The Heavy Chevy is finally FUEL INJECTED! Started gathering parts for a tpi swap a couple of weeks ago. Friday afternoon i started takin the old off and cleaning. Saturday i started on with the new. Sunday was mainly wiring and today i finally finished it up and it RUNS!!!! Still gotta few bugs, idles not quite right but its gonna be a easy fix hopefully. Any one any good at tuning these things?

    Looks good....non-maf system though.....that thing isn't going to like mods at all. Check all your vacuum lines, check to make sure the throttle position sensor is within range, and you have no exhaust leaks near the 02 sensor.....that should help the idle....unless the system doesn't like the cam you have, or your motor has a lot of knock due to roller rockers or high mileage......then it's chip burning time.

    nah its the maf system. just cant see it. its on the driver side. from an 88 gta. computer is a 165 from an 86 camaro with a hypertech chip. ya its pretty sweet. drove it on the highway today and ran great. its runnin really hot. its gotta 192 thermostat but its runnin at like 205. gotta figure out what the deal is. still finishin up loomin all the wires and tyin them back. cleanin up the install a little bit. all together ran me about 800. gotta extra harness nad computer if anyone needs one.

    hope you didn't pay for the hypertech chip, I know a guy who has the .bin for an 88 hypertech chip

    i've got a 92 hypertech chip for a camaro sitting in a drawer somewhere so there...
