    So call him and make him an offer. I think he paid $425 a tire at discount though, and that is WITHOUT the roadhazard. Sounds like he got ripped off.

    If they are 37x12.5x17 MT/Rs, I am interested, but $1600 is incredibly laughable.

    I can have those 4 tires brand new from tirerack, and even after shipping, I would be out $1140

    If they are really new and have road hazard, I will give him half that amount cash money right now.

    I agree with you after seeing what they are really selling for. Give him a call and see if he'll take $800. He may just need to cut his losses.
