Sun Visors

Anyone know if you can take a visor from an 88-98 chevy and bolt it up to an 87 and earlier? Mine have almost lost their ability to hold themselves up and the newer ones seem to last quite a long time. I know they have a similar bolt pattern but is it the same? Or could i just drill a couple of new holes and fit it right in?
