who wants a hoist?

Well, me and Will are buying an engine hoist from Harbor Freight. Its 149.99 + tax obviously. One can be rented one from Texas/Villa for 46 bucks+20 deposit.

Therefore, its pretty obvious to buy our own....Does anyone want to go part in on an engine hoist? Maybe it can be a 'tamor' *****? It would be nice to have a hoist for the club....as i've figured out and many more tamorites will probably soon see. Lift an engine...axles...front end of a truck....whatever. if not, i'm content on sharing it with Will. So, anyone that can see themselves needing one in the near future, heres a chance to spend less than one for rent 46/day that is actually not as good as harbor freights.

btw, its been discussed at great length that "club owned" items are a bad idea.

it was just a suggestion to do a club owned item....

i was just trying to see if anyone needed to rent one for the near future...cause it would prolly be cheaper to go part in on a hoist that you partially own and can borrow more than 24 hours.

i am probably gonna buy one soon... i am interested in the discount at harbor freight though
