Hey guys,
I bought this thinking I was gonna put it on, but I'm gonna head towards an AA SYE kit. So I'm selling this one. Brand New (i've opened the box) I'll let it go for $50. This fits the NP231 on TJs and XJs.

you mean 231 right? what does a hack and tap do compared to a sye? will it work for 8+ inches of lift?

yeah i meant 231. The hack-n-tap is just an easy and inexpensive way to run an SYE. It'll work with however much lift, as long as you have the right amount of driveshaft length.
They call it hack-n-tap because you basically hack off extra transfer case shaft, then tap it, and bolt on the SYE

you will have to look at your xj and see if it will work. If the stock driveshaft slips inside the T-case I don't think it would work, But I can sell you a newer tail housing that will allow you to use the hack and tap

RE says it'll fit TJ/XJ 96+
There's a different kit (not this one) that is made for pre-96 XJs and Wranglers.
Sorry Clayton...
i got a 2000 tj 231 so it should work????

i wonder if that would work on a s10 231? suppose to be the same as wrongler and all but with heavier duty chain...
it will work as long as the s10 231 doesn't use the driveshaft as the rear seal, like on the earlier xj's.
he said $50 and gave you a link to the install. Its really easy, cut off shaft (hack) and drill/tap hole (tap). Hence the name hack and tap
