    Adding to the Fleet

    2003 Chevy 2500 HD Duramax/Allison, Crew Cab/Short Bed.

    It get's picked up this weekend, so I'll add some pictures then.

    Toys to add include:
    • Intake
    • Gauges
    • Boost actuator
    • Ditch the crappy Firestones
    • Smoke a few Powerjokes and CTDs

    Got my vote. Is this yours I'm guessing? If so, congrats. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it since you know so much about them.

    The truck is my dad's, but I still get to tune and play with it while he drives the company car.

    This thing flat out pulls. My folks just got back from NM pulling their 34' Airstream. Total combined load should be in the 17,000-18,000 range. My dad was passing "everything" going up 6+% grades, 75 mph, in 5th, and without too much effort. The 1400 mile round trip yielded 14 mpg.

    I'm driving the truck right now while the burban is getting some attention. The 5 speed takes some getting used to, but it's a lot of fun. She scoots.

    easy scott some of us kids have diesel's without turbos
