how do you lose $5,000? Retail value is what you would expect to buy it for if you bought it used from a dealer right? You need to look at how much the payoff on the loan is today vs. what carmax or other trade-in would give you.Originally Posted by jwingfield2k

i read it somewhere. its because of some sort of sharp peice of metal the left side tires rubbed against during manufacture.
