    A Gypsy Wagon Summer

A summer internship with GE afforded me a great many things this summer - new tires and wheels, a serpentine conversion, dual alternators, and more power.

37" BFG mud terrains are on back order, but Todd said he's working on it.

A serpentine belt accessory system gets me dual 105 amp alternators, a 130 gpm water pump, a big ass Dmax engine fan, and a few other late style parts that I just haven't been able to afford lately.

A new injection pump and injectors should make for about 275 hp and 500 lb-ft at the flywheel. I think that an intercooler will be in the works depending on how quickly I can peg this boost gauge.

    Pics pending.

What ended up happening with the stolen serpentine setup? Why you going dual alternators?

The stolen serpentine setup - reordered; claimed with DHL. Alternators - two are better than one. Missa Stafford - he's already back in CS. When is the SEC career fair?

Started the engine this morning. It runs with a slight miss, but that's normal for a fresh pump and injectors. I'll have to do a full bleed of each line to get it, and I'm out of time. Heading to CS now. I still have to time it, wire in the alternators, charge the AC, and get it rolling.

Lots of progress this weekend. Got the tires on, Bilstein 5100s installed, fine tuned the modified belt routing, Dmax 21" fan in OE shroud, and solved miss at idle. I still have to time it, get to a leaky injector line AN fitting and tighten it, wire in the alternators, get center caps modified and installed, and run AC lines.

Doubt I'll make too many runs this semester.

    New tires.

    On the truck.
