I think most of the people who orignally wanted to go to this decided the 70 dollar entrance fee that did not cover camping and only allowed you to run a set number of trails was just not worth it. Why don't you come with us this weekend instead?

Not this weekend. I'm going to Alto to watch the redneck comedy. Besides, I'm mainly going to Superlift for social hour. To catch up with people that it seems like I haven't seen since my former life (i.e. before starting a business in 1999). I was just at Gilmer two weekends ago. However I do understand the money thing. It's even a little steep in my book and I'm in a whole different tax bracket. (but my Jooness makes up for it, right Flem)
The disco ball in my mouth, insinuates I'm ballin'
wait, $70 for this event? a years membership to gilmer is $40-50. i wont be there. sounds dumb. you should get a free highlift at the gate, or some nylon winch rope, or a new tire of your choice. then id go.
