    make sure you're using the correct extension cord for the right welder. While a 220 mig may run on a 12 gauge extension cord fine, a cracker box won't be happy on it.

    you're only going to weld the spiders? how do you get those out when you wanna "throw a set" in?

    well i will probably weld to the carrier too... you can pick up a new one on ebay pretty cheap... i could get a limited slip one off ebay now but i would rather just weld it and do that later if i get tired of full lock

    now just to figure out something about ground clearance... not really... im not one of those guys that lifts a 2wd... or am i... dont know yet

    tate, plain and simple, don't weld it. I can't imagine a daily driver with a welded carrier. I remember when we welded up hensels rear and he pulled out of the drive way. The slightest turn and it started barking.
