    A/C compressor conversion...

    Anyone ever converted a GM pancake style compressor to be used as onboard air? I know it has been done but havent been able to find many useful articles online.

    You can pretty much use any compressor for on board air. The only catch is you have to use an inline oiler to lubricate the compressor.

    Isn't that the reason most people just use the oil-bath style sandens or yorks?
    lots of people have had good success with stock Yota compressors with an oiler on the intake and a filter on the exhaust, though, I'm sure you could set up a similar deal for the chebby
