i doubt it. Any block headers should be fine. I don't know what I will run, but it will more than likely be something cheap like the summit brand.

I got it online someplace - like Chevyautoparts.com or something.
I've done more research since then and I won't be putting that pan on my 6.0 because there are no baffles. I plan on the Kelvco pan with trap doors and a remote filter.

Hmm - more options. I was just starting to like the idea of having a steel pan too.

Modification note: I moved the PS can from the grill to the engine to allow the can to move with the engine and eliminate the risk of pinching the suction hose - thus causing pressure and blowing out the pump "can" seal.

Another update to her rig: I redid the front U-bolt plates for 5/8" U- bolts. Both centerpins were broken and the plates were bent. I also reienforced the spring perches a little at they were starting to bend some. I started to make a front anti-wrap bar but got sidetracked with packing bearings while I waited for a weld to cool.

We leave for Colorado on Thursday morning, I don't think I will get the antiwrap bar done by then. It's possible but not sure I want to push that hard with all of the other crap I have to get done.

Did you have 9/16" U bolts before? Did they loosen up or stretch or something?

I had 1/2" before. They would stretch or bend the plates between runs. The grade 8 washers under the nuts have the form of the nut deforming them

Interesting, the klogger is rolling with 9/16" bolts and I made the front plates out of 1/4" plate with a 90 degree angle at front and back to prevent bending. Have to see how it works. The rear are stock plates that I welded an additional piece of 1/4" plate to.

In addition, my uncle has a pocket knife.
