    Any local offroading/mudding?

I know, you may laugh at me for asking, but all I have is a stock 87 4WD Cherokee and wanted to know if there was any local places around here I could take it. Any input would be appreciated!

theres nothin wrong with a stock jeep, especially the older ones. I have an 83 wagoneer (back at home) and itll hold its own off road. I also would like to know if theres any local places to screw around/test new parts.

Closest place as of now would probably be Alto.

Might be the wrong club for you if you want to wheel or go "muddin" at a place that could potentially be illegal or get the club into trouble.

Just remembered, Spring Creek is only about an hour or 2 away. Some decent mudding out there (or so ive heard, never been out there). At least its legal, might be worth checking out.

edit: dont try going anywhere illegal, we tried that in highschool at a very remote place, luckily we didnt get caught but on the way out we saw 2 police expiditions sitting at the entrance... we were able to turn around and find a different way out, but wayyy to close for comfort.

I've been to Spring Creek many times and mudding is all there is if that's what you're looking for. It's in Old Town Spring right by Hardy Toll Road.
Also, if you're just looking for mud/sand, 242/San Jacinto River is fine. I live close by and spent many summer's wheelin' down there.
