    Hydroboost

Would the hydroboost unit from a '98 Dodge 3500 work with the 460 and stuff on our Scout II? I'm planning on using the stock Scout steering box, but tapping it for hydro assist. I found a guy selling the Dodge one, so I need to know.

Yes? No? Is there anything I'm missing? Will the Lincoln (early 70's Mark III) have one? (It's paid for)

If there's anyone that wants it if it dosen't work for me, I'll buy it and sell it to them at my cost. I just don't want to get stuck with something I can't use.

    TIA.

    Yes, I am.

"Why wouldn't it work?" is exactly what I'm asking. I think it will, but like I said, I don't want to pay for parts I can't use.

As long as your PS pump is up snuff, you shouldn't have a problem. Hydroboost is simply one more "resistor" is the PS circuit.
