Jet fuel is more of a kerosene than a diesel.

That diesel thing has been around for a while. I don't think it is actually in production. A few years back Tech had a project to make fuel injection for it.

I do know that the military does use KLR's, there is a company in California that outfits them. If you search ebay you can buy some of the take-off parts like tires, but I don't think the diesel is actually a production bike.

Just picked up an issue of Diesel Performance and saw those bikes in there. They had a full article on em'. Seems like a good idea?

Just as a side note diesel and jet fuel are very similar. On CUCV 6.2s and hummer 6.2 and 6.5s, the injection pumps have hardened internal parts so they can run on jet fuel, I guess to make logistics easier in combat areas, cause I cant imagine that **** being any cheaper than diesel.

Thats why the military went with the diesel motorcycle because of Nato's one fuel idea. The Navy or the Marines, i dont remember which, has phased out gasoline completey, even in the small generators.
