    wd40 alternatives

What do you guys use for rusted bolts etc. (i was going to say penetrating lube, which would have been correct, but you know...)

I have wd40, and then i got a couple things from work, nutcracker, and seafoam - i am gonna get some stuff called general gel next - anyways - what do yall use , or what has worked for yall?

krebs had ballisto-lube. But it was like $3.50 a can and since it was krebs it should've been called ballisto-joob.

It was all-natural sh!t, you could use it as insecticide and stuff it was wierd. Oh yeah and krebs was a joo about using it.

We use MP by Amsoil. It's hard to find being a dealer only sell, luckily g-pa is a dealer. Gonna put the Amsoil synthetic in everything; axles, tranny, tc, and engine. It makes a world of difference.

Seth are you trying to get the bolt off the sector shaft or actually pop the pitman off? If you're having trouble popping the pitman off, put the puller on it and get it as tight as you can, so it looks like the puller is about to break, then whack the pitman arm on the backside with a hammer (like hit it on the side opposite where the arm reaches out, so you're putting impact on the splines). Should pop right off.

For solvents I've always used some of the blue John Deere breakdown stuff.
    Impact+pitman arm puller= success.
