    yeah, im agreeing. you just mis-referenced it. at least as i see it, its the second axle not the third.

    It is a HP D44 from a 1979 Ford. It has cast wedges and is thus completely useless to me. It is owned by Steven, but he has yet to take possession of the axle and wheels that are sitting under my work bench. Discussion closed, back to talking about my project that will take years to finish.

    Yes, that's why I'm working on finding a job for now instead of hopping right in to grad school.
