that one is at the Lone Star flight museum in galveston. it was donated by an air racer. im guessing that was how he had it painted in his race plane.

Half-ass progress. Got the drag link off the pitman arm, track bar is gone, shocks out, coils are off the buckets and I just need to pull four bolts to get the links out - left them in to do some front axle figuring. Also, turns out the Jeep is light enough that I can pick the front end up off the axle now, that's how I made sure everything was unbolted.

Front axle choices. Next post has picture of steering/track bar geometry. Turns out the Chevy D60 has some stuff in the way of all that, so I'm thinking I may be better off swapping the Chevy knuckles on the Ford axle, or selling both and finding a Ford HP D60 and running with that. I need to do some more measuring on the Ford D60 I have to decide whether it's wide enough to work with the 14b rear and what to do about axle shafts.

Here's the Rubicon Express front axle bracket kit. Not sure what to do here, I don't really think either of the choices I've found are ideal for any D60 setup...

It's from a 76 Ford - Just weird enough that you have to get creative with inner axle shafts to find stock length ones that will work. Not completely sure I want to use it yet but it's free for now so I may just set it up and worry about buying shafts when the time comes.
