1.) i know its going to start to fail while im driving down the highway
2.) but i dont think it will catastrophically fail until i get it half a mazda's length offroad

1. I highly doubt it will start to fail on the highway.
2. I highly doubt it will completly fail on the highway.

summary: If it doesn't break by beating the **** out of it off road I think I'll be ok on short drives down the road...
