    91 toyota ex-cab 4x4

**** i would buy the damn thing if i had $1500
and i have a starter and lots of other toyota crap for sell if someone buys it
hes gonna get me pics this afternoon
    --------------------------------------------------------------

My name is Travis Gardner and I have a 1991 Toyota 4x4 Extended Cab Pickup for sale. If you could please pass this e-mail on to anyone and everyone that you may think is interested. I'm asking $1,500, and you must come to pick it up yourself. The paint is a faded red that needs some body work (just a few rust spots). The starter is out and it has a very mild oil leak. Right before the starter went out I put all new tires (BF Goodrich 31x10.5 All Terrain) that were only used for less than a month as well as front break pads. Other than the starter, everything else runs fine. My cell phone number is (512) 461 - 7020, and my e-mail is travis.gardner@agr.state.tx.us , please feel free to call or e-mail if interested.

    Thank you,

    Travis

no I emailed him. If it's still around in a few months I'll probably get it. But it won't be...
fixing oil leaks gives you an excuse to catch up on maintenance of a vehicle like that. I wouldn't worry about it at all. Fitting a crawlbox to a v6 tranny is more difficult than to a 4cyl, however

yeah, if you're going to build it, you're better off trying to find a 4 cylinder, as the horsepower difference is actually very small, and the 4 cylinder is more reliable, and easier to add dual cases to. But at least its a standard, so its not a total loss like with an auto.

those are my thoughts, but it would sit at samantha's 90% of the time, hence im hesitant to purchase.....i think i'll save up for a GN anyway.

if someone here does buy it, see if he knows whether or not it was taken in for the recall on the engine. I don't remember exactly what was recalled (problems with the head warping I think), but its good to check to see if it was done

the 4 cylinder if you overheat it, but that goes for any engine. But the V6s had a serious enough problem with something (once again, it might have been the head, it might not, I can't remember) that they were recalled and quite a few got thier engines replaced even. The truck is still a damned good deal, but I'm just trying to give things to check on for the people who want to daily drive it
