    CB question

    my CB has been FUBAR for awhile. it's not putting out sound or barely putting out sound. sometimes I can pick up a faint conversation when I have the volume all the way up. thing is the speaker works because when I put it on the weather channel that comes in fine. any suggestions?

    Unless you are positive that your radio is tuned right, I'd go to a CB shop and have them do it. I just installed mine, and I plan on getting it tuned as soon as possible. It's a pretty cheap service, and well worth it.

    it sounds like a grounding issue with the antenna. are you using a ball mount or a dual antenna mount?

    yeah, i would check to see if everything were tuned right? that could cause the problem, or you might have a bad connection in the wiring from the CB to the whip.
