    from everything that i read so far, and what people have told me, the front axle should be a direct bolt in, just have to modify or find a new trans to accept a tcase, i still need to find a front axle

    the part number is 72?? its 4 numbers long and its for a 4.0 ho, it's in the car and i'm to lazy to go look but it is new in box, what part number is it suposed to be for you? i will look in the morning

    i wouldnt count on having a lot of extra money after graduation for toys... you have to be more responsible after college... it sucks but it true... spend now on something... dont waist your time on a beater xj

    Well not everyone plans on being engaged and having responsibilities associated with the such i.e.(mortgage, kids, whatnot) right out of college. I don't think many of us have money to spend on something now while still in school. The key is to stay single after college so you can afford to buy toys and the like before settling down.

    No the key is to rack up massive credit card debt while in college so you can have fun while there's fun to be had and then later use it as an excuse to put off marriage and all that other boring old guy stuff.

    I've never had less financial stress, however I am about to buy a house. I still don't plan on having stress in that area. The key is to spend less than you make.

    tommys xj is free... as long as he can keep the 4wd conversion and other stuff under 1k, I think it is a good idea. probably won't find something better than that under 1500

    if it wasn't free, then I probably wouldn't do this, I plan on trying to keep the whole build to less than 300 for parts, then find a lift from somewhere for couple of hundred and do some custom metal work for it like the front bumper, rock sliders, rear bumper, and skid plates.
