i'll take them off your hands but ive decidded not to stretch the cj for now. it was to nice to cut up. we will see if that changes in teh near future

front axle installed, it is drivable again, im debating on whether to put the fenders back on again and trim them up quite a bit or just to leave them off as it is

things left to do:

install tranny and tcase
buy and install lift
weld the rear
buy and install locker for front
change tires over to right wheels
remove carpet from inside
reinstall the stereo and speakers
fix passanger door latch
adjust e-brake
trim body
make front bumper and skid plates

Ditch the fenders and doors. I would leave the front locker for last, that way it wont prevent you from wheeling and/or making a deadline.

a freind of mine parted out an xj. i think he sold both axles, tranny and tcase for 200 bucks or something like that. all my friend wanted was the interior to put into another xj that had an engine fire

now that i think about it more i think it was more in the range of 125-150

yeah the parts i got was around 150, what i got was front and rear axle, tranny, tcase, drive shafts, crossmember, front springs, all the linkages, all the links, and a few other things, but im gonna see if i can find an ax15 tranny to put in

the progress that i made tonight was rerouted some vacuum lines, installed door speakers, installed cd player, fixed the door latch, put the interior door handles back on, fixed a rear tail light, and reinstalled some of the interior trim panels

so far total amount of money that i have into the thing is around 180

if i remember isn't almost all of that thru me 25 for the fan clutch and 150 for the axles etc. thats funny

ok, before i left for my internship, i managed to put the fenders on for the hell of it and trim the front up some, the passanger side took a little convincing with the mini-sledge, i might do more trimming later, still need tor trim the rear, and krylon gloss white is a pretty damn good color match for it, i think i found another whole xj minus the engine for cheap, just need my brother to go look at it and get it, here are a few pics of the fender trim, i now need to decide on what brand of lift to get, i am prolly gonna go around 3"

There's gotta be some way to make a ghetto lift using stock parts so you dont have to spend money on a real lift.
