    Radiator/Electric Fans

I've started looking around at different radiators and was wondering if anyone had any experience or advice with what to look for? I looked at Be Cool's but they're pretty pricey, I'd still like to have a high quality high flow one though. Also this setup needs to be permanent and cost effective in the long run, so whatever I go with it will need to work with a chevy v8 swap. As for the electric fans I was assuming that some run of the mill parts store brand ones will work, or is there certain brands that are of higher quality that I should look into? Thanks in advance.

taurus fans are the only ones that work on offroad vehicles. At all. blackflipoffjimmyhat

take some measurements and see what kind of clearances you have, then head to the junkyard and find one that fits. Most sporty-type cars made in the last ten years have an electric fan or two.

I read it on pirate, it must be true! In fact I tried to tell some scout guys on pirate about how easy it was to run Intrepid fans, but they told me how badass Taurus ones were, and that was it. After that I was an idiot!

lincoln mark vii or mark viii i cant remember from like the 90's or so, it flows 4400 cfm, vs the taurus that flows around 2800 or 3200 cfm i cant remember. it came in the ones that had the 4.6 v8- the one i got mine from was a two door.

just make sure it has 3 contacts or 3 wires coming off of it.

That's the plan. The motor/trans mounts are rotted and shot. Anyone have a reference for radiators?

Get a summit aluminum or try to find a stock one since you know it cools already. Becools are not worth it, over priced and I believe the tanks are epoxied.
