probably 33's for now so I wont kill the axles too soon, may get some 35's later on down the road. As far as i know the seats dont fold forward, the back one does but the fronts dont. What is the s/n on the ifsja boards for that truck?
I believe his s/n is viscacha or something like that.
Yeah, good thing about W/T Cheros like mine is I can fit 33s stock, albeit with a bit of rubbing. But Im gonna run a 4" and 33s so Ive got no problems as far as rubbing goes.
The seats that came with my Cherokee are Waggy seats, they don't fold forward either, Cherokee ones are supposed to. Kinda hard to get into the back seat with a 2 door and seats that don't fold forward...

anyone have an idea on how long a stock amc 20 (1 piece shafts) and dana 44 would hold up to 35" bfg's? Since im going to have to buy new tires anyways im thinking why not just trim a little and get 35s instead of 33s. I know the COG will go up a bit but its not much more than a 33" tire. Also, where can I find some alloy shafts for a waggy amc 20? Every time i find some they are for the little cj axles which are different.
depends on how you wheel. my axles do just fine. though i have a 9in instead of a amc 20

my rear 44 holds up pretty good. it gets a lot of abuse, much more than my front axle... on and off road.
I would think you would only need to worry about the front 44 with 35" tires. My front axle has held up fairly well. I would say it should be similar. Un-locked it should be fine, locked it should be ok as long as you are careful/only hammer down with the wheels straight.

That 20's decently strong. I wouldn't worry about it any more than the front 44. Get spare shafts for both.

junkyard for cheap yes. if you bought new ones, i'd get alloy ones

yea i dont really want new ones if they arent needed... the alloy front shafts are outrageous
i didnt see any wangoneers at gordons yesterday, but there are a few other places around here
