Bad news, i called steve tonight, and his wife answered and said he would be out of town till sunday. I asked her if the park would still be open and she said she didnt think so. The only other person we could maybe call that would know, would be the other guy that kinda helps steve run the park, i think his name was jim something, and he ran the twd4x4 club i think if anyone has his number could you please post it up or give him a shout and ask yay or nay.

I think you mean Jim Taylor. He has a key & so does Junior. You might also try pageing Steve. Let him know we will collect the money & get it to him. If it helps, let him know I am going & will be glad to lead & collect money - he has let me go out there before as a trail leader and without him being there to open the gate.
Here's some numbers for you:
Jim Taylor
779-7120
Steve Operstini (pager)
226-1189
Junior
820-2252

Bad news, talked to Jim. Some Land Rover group rented the place out for the whole weekend, so scratch that idea. He said next weekend was open though...

ya there is 8 of us wanting to go tomorrow to wheel. so lets do it. someone get ahold of that steve guy, and lets go in the morning to get a full day in.
hey is there somewhere else we can wheel this sunday (tomorrow) if we cant go to 47? somewhere within a hour drive
I can probably get a small group (3-4 vehicles) in to soggy bottom, but it's not all that fun because it's pretty flat & they want you to stay out of the mud pits.
What about Monday or Weds late afternoon/evening? I could also ask Jim to call me when th LR guys leave tomorrow so we could possibly go out for a bit late afternoon.
Thanks,
Chris Scotti
