Well, after talking with feller last night, im putting the jeep aside and building up the donor truck of the motor. its a 92 Z71 1/2 tun ext cab.
not yet, still debating. Any new names for the truck since im changing the thread or just leave it the same?
mothball this thread and "ed" it (the half of the zulu tribe that is using the computers around me looked at me real funny when I laughed at that when I saw that earlier Jerry) and start another one. No help on the name, wait till we start drinkin then we will get one figured out.
Don't build a fullsize. Worthless on the trail. Put all that crap in a Toyota or a suziki or a cheap JeepOriginally Posted by Reckless

The office sucks - I wanna go wheeling!
Seriously, build something lighter and smaller. If you don't you'll still have fun, but you'll eventually want something smaller.Originally Posted by redcagepatrol

Yes, build a sidekick. I'll trade you a good one for your jeep. 96 sport model, very low miles. I think it'd work great with some rockwells and fortysomethins.
OK if not, I found you somethin.

im gonna try the "foolsize" with the money ive got now, plus like scott and others have said, the jeep is in great conditon. if bad comes to worse, ill do somthin different but its all there and ready to go and a lot cheaper to do it.
I think if he swapped "cheap" out for "****tay" then it would have been ironyOriginally Posted by CheapJeep
Sharpe is a good example of what happens to a fullsize trail rig. Notice how he is chopping parts off and I'm sure after clayon it will be even less fullsize.

true but i really dont care at the moment, aint worried bout the body, as feller mentioned, im gonna "beer can" it
Starting out with a rig that is in good condition either makes you want to keep it that way and learn to drive better or allows you to make the purist cringe everytime you go out.Originally Posted by Reckless
