    H1 wheels

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever seen someone use H1 double beadlocks on a street driven rig? Would they be possible to balance with the runflat and stuff? Do you think they could be recentered accurately enough to be used?

If you get the mag. runflats your going to need to cut them down so unless your that good, that right there will throw off the balance. Or get the rubber or use the pvc runflats. I bet centering those is a royal PITA. Mine we're not fun at all and they just look easyer.
On the other hand, you see military hummers running up and down the highway so it must be possible.

I figure they would be hard to balance, but like you said, you see hummers on the road. But then again they used to all use those crappy goodyears, so balanced wheels may be the least of thier problems

I don't know about balancing, but re-centering is easy. Just lay the new center on the lip inside and weld it up.

I'll find a picture later to illustrate, but if you look at a hummer wheel you'll know what I'm talking about.

recentering is pretty easy, like Brett said just use the lip. Thats what I did to the set I have here. When you start to weld them, just make sure you tack it real good all the way around it before you really start to weld them in place.

I want H1 wheels but I obviously need them recentered. Where can I buy them already re-centered, complete, ready to be mounted up?
