Anyone have an extra tank for a mig they aren't using that I could buy? And where's the cheapest place to get a fill up/new bottle setup.

^ thats where we get ours, they seem to have the best prices
**** renting. If you move it will make exchanging the bottle a PITA.
I had to drive to BOTCO, some other place in bryan, and finaly out the brazos valley welding supply yesterday before I could find someone to exchange my empty gas bottle that came from Kingsville. BVW will be getting my business from now on.
On the 8th day god created the Super Swamper TSL and said "go forth and kick ass"
I don't know for sure what TSC's prices are compared to BVW or others, but they are all over and are open 7 days a week. A few extra dollars might be worth it getting one of their bottles when you need it late sunday afternoon to finish up a project. FWIW
when did TSC start carrying welding gas?

home depot has it and there bottle refills were really close to the cost of the place I was using, but much more convenient.Originally Posted by StevenAg03
Praxair supplies them.
Northern does bottles too.
they also have 100% argon if you are into the tig thing.
...
bout a year or more. its in the blue cages out side. its where i gots my argon mix for tha mig
They keep it inside at the one here, to the left when you walk in next to the soda pop cooler. I think the larger bottles (dont know size) were like 117 filled with the argon/co mix
I say buy... i have been renting and am about to pay for my 3rd year on my bottles... i am wishing now that i had bought them... i think i will buy some when my rent is up
I'm going to rent for now. I'll give it up in May and buy whenever I get a house sometime late next year.
