I figured out what that popping in my front axle was. Upon looking at the lockright, it looks kind of odd. If you look at the pins circled in red, those are the pins that look like they have been sheared for awhile. If you look at the oblong pin holes circled in green, that's where the pins were still in tact....fighting for life. It's amazing they held on as long as they did. Apparently one of the two finally let go and that's why I could hear all the popping in the front end. I should send the lone surviving pin into Richmond for further research.

    have to be done,
    finish setting gears
install ram cylinder and reconnect lines
finish some welding on radius arms
    connect front driveshaft
    check all bolts for tightness
    install shafts

Need to be done but can get by without it
swap cam to get all my brakes back
build anti wrap bar-have all the pieces and material just need the time
finish radius arm crossmember-same with this one on pieces already ready to weld-just need to drill some holes.
replace front hard brake line with a smaller one.
take out tiny stock rear degreed block

i wish i didnt have three finals fawking school shizz

I think you should add that to the bag of metal pieces you find in the oil pan. Its strong and battle-proven, there has to be a place in that motor for it somewhere!

ok, found the right parts for the front brakes, and mounted the fowtyfo's on the H1's. Either the H1's are harder than I thought or I am out of shape. Now off to the shop with the calipers and pads.
