I had a copy on my old computer, but can't find one for the new one. The disk is floating around College Station I think.

i like the one through the dash. the rover is tight enough without having to squeeze past an A pillar.

I agree, the non through the dash one looks too much like tj cages

I think the only difference is the a pillar bars. The camel trophy trucks are through the dash, the stuff you could at one time buy from the dealer goes in front. I think I'm going to copy most of the design, but there is some stuff they bolt together that should have been welded like the horizontal brace on the b-c pillar spreaders. I don't get the rear body tie in either. It looks like its only effective when it has already collapsed a few inches.

theres a few side shots of the through dash bars in this. Doesn't look like its in the way at all.

    Just for you Flem:

From the latest Top Gear episode. The best 4x4xFar was found to be the best vehicle to cross Bolivia in (vs a Suzuki and an FJ40).

Flem here's a million dollar idea for you (or at least a couple thou):
Antiwrap bar mount like mine. Nobody makes a decent one for yotas.
it would just be 3 or 4 pieces of 3/16 plate. Now that it's on the public domain I want a dollar a pop
