I thought I would share from my 2/9/07 purchase at Mack BS.

5 - 4.82 - 24.10 - 2 x 2 x 1/4 square tubing
1 - 2.94 - 2.94 - 3/16 x 6 flat bar
1 - 0.92 - 0.92 - 3/16 x 2 flat bar

Maybe we can keep this going to track how much this stuff goes up/down depending on dates and vendor.

I've got a bunch of receipts from Mack out in the garage, but I don't want to look at them.

BTW, Pioneer is worthless unless you're building a house/shed.

for small materials like that you are probably better off buying online.

For my axle project I've used 3 different companies so far to get the best prices on stuff.

actually if you just tell them you are with TAMOR they give you a damn good discount, i got 1.75" .120 hrew for $1.52 a ft just cause i bs'd the guy for a while.

If you just walk in there with cash in hand and are anywhere from $2-$17 short, they'll just take it. They might take less, but that's the biggest "discount" I've ever had.

mack told me he didnt carry HREW and i had to go to the muffler shop to get 1.75"x.120" b/c thats what they use on exhaust systems. i cant stress enough how pleasant i was trying to be. i didnt get ugly till well after he was spewing bs at me. that guy can suck my balls.

yep, both. but you cant ask for it you have to find it on your own or if the big canadian thats dips and wear wanglers is there, he knows where the stuff is at.

yes, me too. prolly just one stick though. i may abandon my principles to save a trip to houston as long as i dont have to go to mack to get it.
