    1987 Yamaha FZ 700

    1987 Yamaha FZ700
    8207 original miles

    Good condition
Runs Great, carbs recently cleaned and plugs replaced

    the good:
    low miles
starts first time everytime and runs like a champ
    no tears in seat
    all gauges work great
    New-to-the-bike dent free tank
has all fairings and they are crack-free
    metzler tires
    no leaks

the bad: (and im being picky on some stuff)
the worst thing is the scratches on the fairing on the lefthand side where it fell over. Though I think with a new decal and some easy paint/sanding you wouldnt even notice it.
Dent in muffler (the shadowing in the picture makes it look worse then it is)
one of the handle bars barely touches the tank on full turn
minute crack in gauges that you can only see at certain angles
minor scratches on tank and paint chipping on edges
some other minor scratches on other plastics
needs a blinker bulb and possibly a whole assembly ($40 on ebay)

All in all I think its a good solid bike, I just dont ever ride it.

I'm looking for $1700 firm. There is one on ebay right now that has 3 times the miles in the same shape for $1400 and its not done so I know I can get $1700 easy for this one. Just want to give tamorites a shot at it first. I have the title

It also comes with a brand new HJC helmet size large ($150ish new) and a valve cover gasket that I bought when me and karl were going to adjust the valves but it didnt need it.

    Will meet halfway to CS.

I've got a gem of a motorbike I pulled out of "Big trash day" last night. It's the trashy yamaha version of Piglet. It's going straight on ebay when I get back from Missouri on Sunday. Cherry.

On topic: That bike is really sweet, I wish I had the dough.

Stumble in to the liquor store
With a dollar-fifty for a bottle of wine,
I know just what I'm lookin for
    Thunderbird will do just fine.
