yeah, it gets pretty tight on 16"s IIRC
15's might fit with caliper grinding, but i dont like that idea.
I think 15's do fit without caliper grinding. You can use a half ton caliper, which uses 15" rims.Originally Posted by agjohn02

ah, yes. i forgot its 1/2-3/4 ton stuff. its one ton brakes that you have to grind for 15's.
well guys it kinda suck but i cant afford to do the disc swap, just dont have the cash , and my woman needs a ring. but in about a year i will prolly do it.
One thing tho, the spring mounts on this axle are underneath the tube, can i just flip it over or do something to make it bolt on top of the spring?
cut off old spring perch, weld on new one on top
it may just be me but i didnt know there were spring under 14 bolts. are you sure you dont have it upside down?
Flip the axle over buddy.Originally Posted by BIGJIMMY

where it bolts to the mounting bracket is under neath, not the spring,

dude, where do you live? I think you need guidance. I've never heard of a spring under 14 bolt. You did say you got it out of a chevy truck right?Originally Posted by BIGJIMMY

The "mounting bracket" is called the spring plate and yes on 14 bolt full floaters they all came like that. I dont mean to be a dick but you dont know what your talking about so go buy a membership and search for all the info you need on pirate or coloradok5. Hell, try searching here. Like I said, I'm not trying to be rude but the questions you are asking are EXTREMELY basic and have been answered a thousand times over.Originally Posted by BIGJIMMY
