crack in fiberglass hard top... fixable?

I opened up my rear gate on my cj today and the fvcking hing ripped right through the fiberglass.... does anybody know if that is fixable, or if anybody would be able to fix it? It sucks ass, there is a big hole in it now. Or do I have to just deal with it or by a new top? Let me know.

fiberglass isn't that hard to fix... you can buy a kit that comes with fiberglass sheets and this gell crap you mix up and then it drys... the only thing is that if the prep work isnt done perfect it comes out looking like ass... i would just try to ghetto rig it but ya know i drive a ford... my 2 cents

ya i guess ill try that, ill probably have to take all the hings and tail gate off though.... fvck.. thanks. and its ok I have 3 fords.

i've used that fiberglass fix stuff before, it works pretty well, just a pain in the arse, we didn't try to make it look nice, but a sander probably woulda helped
