I have access to heat treating furnaces if he doesn't think the flame hardening worked.

I think flem's design was more the problem than the heat treating, but it seems like we were trying some thicker stuff I can't remember.

.125 was the thinnest we did, and that was on the larger one
doug they are 304 SS and after we did the the heat treating I read up on it and I think I saw 304 doesn't respond well to it. Any ideas?
