    Pics from Rubicon Trip

Sorry it took so long for me to get these posted. It was the most pics I've ever taken on a wheeling trip and they took forever to caption. Speaking of which, the captions read more like a trip report so if you're really bored, read 'em all. Sorry for the jacked up order in some cases, the system only alphabetizes, it doesn't sort by creation date.

    Rubicon Trail 2007

It was a bad ass trip overall. I had some mechanical issues on the trip out(motor & tranny mounts) and we had to fix those, which cut into some of the scenic wheeling we planned on doing. I had no mechanical issues on the trail though, which with my history & luck, you know I'm proud of that.
    Thanks,

yah, it was really cool to catch up with him. I know he misses Texas, but honestly he goes a damn cool life out there. Sweet job, office is on the slopes, ton's of amazing wheeling within a 30 minute drive, cool GF, etc...
    Thanks,

She almost made 60MPH by the end of the 10 mile drag strip!

Actually anything over about 25mph threw up tons of salt into our faces & all on our clothes. Evidently the groom the track for events and there aren't any in July. I am not sure exacly how they groom it, but you can see slightly flatter "tracks" where there are less cracks. I am envisioning some sort of super duper salt zamboni driven by a gay hippie park ranger.

You'll have to ask Nick. I only closely inspected it in a dark tent
