Anyone know where one is? Looking to build one that's streetable to be my Thursday/Friday ride to work. I've found lots of single cabs, but I'm 6'2" and 250...

Have you sat in an extra cab yet? I'm hoping that will be big enough.
If not, I might just have to look for a 4runner of the same vintage, but the trucks look a scheiße-ton better in my opinion.
not gonna build up yours anymore?
why not buy the ugly truck? Its actually not that ugly. Add a bed and a decent front bumper and you would be set. Hell, if I remember correctly eric even has a spare cab if you think that one had to much damageOriginally Posted by JeepPhisherman
Add a bed?!?!? ARE YOU ****ING INSANE?!?!?! Uglytruck started the bedless revolution!!!!
On the 8th day god created the Super Swamper TSL and said "go forth and kick ass"

im 6'1" 185lbs. mine has bucket seats... if that makes a difference. I have plenty of room to spare, leg/height wise. If you want to you can cruise out to Hutto and take mine for a spin to see if thats what you want.
BTW, no ex-cabs in 83. you probably knew that though.
I drive a standard cab everyday and think it's just fine, but I'm 5'10. Fred is about your size and drives it, I'll let him chime in on whether or not it's comfortable. There isn't much room in the cab with both of us in there though, that's for sure.
Boats and hoes
Stumble in to the liquor store
With a dollar-fifty for a bottle of wine,
I know just what I'm lookin for
Thunderbird will do just fine.
i have driven only the standard cab old yotas and to me there is DEFINITELY not enough room for a big guy like me or garrett
I still have yet to drive a single cab. I might be making a trip up to Dallas to check one out on Sunday though, so we'll see.
the first gens are really tiny. But while my old truck (3rd gen) was small, it wasn't that bad, even after adding the mastercraft seats
I was thinking if the cab is close to fitting me, I'll just add some smaller import seats in there and be ok.
My opinion: You will be much happier w/ an ex-cab. Our old 85 ex-cab was just about as small as it got and I was driving it when I was in my "fightin weight" of ~240.
anyone still looking for a toy? There is a 87 4runner down here in pearland for $2995. Looks to be in decent shape from a distance
