    Electric Fans

    My electric fans went out on my truck, dual 12's. What is the best electric fan i could put on my truck for a low cost? Im thinkin junkyard stuff.

    ford taurus, lincoln mark 8 with the 4.6, dodge intrepid, basically jsut measure what room you have and go to the junk yard with a tape measure and find one large fan or twins, and have at it.

    yeah, just grab one out of whatever seems to fit. As for aftermarket, I've been hearing good things about SPAL. Flex A Lites worked okay for me, other than the one that caught fire and nearly burned my old buggy and house to the ground

    So I got fans from a taurus i believe, maybe an escort, but it is a 16 in fan. I put it on and now the wiring is getting really hot, like almost burning my hand hot. what is the deal and how do I fix it. Electrical is a foreign language of mine.

    Yesterday me and my friend put a relay from a 1 ton dodge on it and replaced some of the wires. It works perfect. Thank u much for the advice!
