    it will not bolt up w/o an expensive adapter, cheaper to get a tranny/d300 combo and only the t176 will bolt to a 302 w/o adapters
    Red 81 CJ5, 35's, 4.10 and detroit, 4 to 1 dana 300, tbi efi, flat belly, cage, chromos and auzzie in front... sometimes runs. body damage to come

    Colman, your not geting the point. I understand that the t176 will mate up, but this guy ****s money so its not a big deal and Im just the relay man. So it will not mate up. Thats all i needed to know.

    the adapter would be a better transmission

    I've never seen an adapter made for a jeep 3 speed, its not worth the effort.

    It has a 4 sp with the d20. it was converted from the 3 spd

    If it work, bring it, if not leave it

    Its cool. The chick from the last scoutfork shindig wants me to come down one weekend soon so ill be up there in a month or so. Will it work though with that 4sp?

    what is it? if it's a t15 like you say, I don't know of an adapter that will work. You sure that's what is in it?
