The rockers are HOSED on that one. Is the body on your's in that sad of shape?

worse, pretty much everything you can buy a replacement panel for, i need. Somebody replaced the rockers already once, but i think they did it with their eyes closed.

The only good thing is the windshield frame isnt rusted out, that is where they usually get it bad.

I basically plan to take it to a bodyshop and bend over...I've seen ones worse than mine brought back to life.

edit: i wouldn't give the guy $3000 for sure on that one.

The wheels are turning after this weekend. I could throw 5-10 G's at bodywork for el borracho, or i could buy an already nice blazer for that amount.

Me thinks i take this one, make it run, add cage, forrow krogger.

    [mikemikeknoeller]

First thing I'd do is ditch that fool injection for a quadrajet.

Here is the plan as i see it.

Make the b!tch run....fred cover your ears. Most likely this will involve carbing it. I got a free intake and 4 barrel from mike. Im going to rebuild the carb and clean up the intake. I cant work on it wear its stored, and I cant keep it in the driveway. If i carb it and make it run i can drive it to and from the storage place.

I can work on it my driveway without repercussion for a weekend. So when I want to work on it, i'll just drive it back over here.

As far as I know, everything but the motor is in working condition. Steering is all hooked up, and i think the brakes are good.

Here is what it needs to run:
    carb rebuilt
    intake cleaned up
    new distributor
    plugs/wires
i'll have to check on the fuel pump and stuff once i pull it out.

I'll have to get with karlisa and find a time in a couple of months when we can do it at don johnsons', i know he has alot of other projects though too.

    We'll see how it goes.

    Other plans:
either 205/203 doubler or 241/205 doubler
    run the 44 for a while till i can afford a 60
    cage
    bumpers
    new seats
    fix heater

do the 241/205 doubler.... lighter and better gearing. Plus it's much cheaper.

hell no, not unless you're in a rush. You can usually find them for 100-200. I think I paid 125 for mine at gordons.
